Get Involved

NOW SHOWING :: Get Involved
Ch. 04 · 09 · 2026
We’re building in public

We just launched. We have a website, a piggy bank, three cofounders, and a group chat with years of material. What we don’t have yet is a polished product. That’s where you come in.

We need people to help us build the programming, test the material, sit in a room while we figure out what works, and tell us when it doesn’t. We need guinea pigs. We need collaborators. We need the people who’ve been in the sector long enough to know whether a joke lands or just hurts.

This isn’t a sales page. It’s an invitation to help us cook.

01//What We’re Building

Stand-Up

Surviving the Social Sector

A touring set built on workforce data and break room humor. We have the material. We need test audiences to tell us what hits and what’s just sad.

Improv

Exposure Therapy, Live

Audience-participatory improv where you act out your worst day and we play the institution. Need brave volunteers willing to be the first ones on stage.

The Room

Scream Rooms & Smash Sessions

Pop-up catharsis installations. We’re figuring out the logistics — soundproofing, space, what to destroy. If you have a venue, a storage unit, or opinions, we want to hear from you.

Training

Wellness That Isn’t a Lie

Real workforce development workshops. Not the kind that end with a branded fleece. We need orgs willing to pilot these with their teams.

02//Ways to Get Involved

Be a guinea pig.

Come to a test show. Sit in the audience while we work out the material. Laugh, cringe, tell us afterward what worked. We need honest feedback from people who’ve lived this stuff.

No cost. Just show up and be willing to tell us the truth.

other ways in

  • Have a venue or space we could use for a test run
  • Work at an org willing to pilot a training workshop
  • Want to co-develop material (writers, performers, sector folks)
  • Have data, research, or stories that should be part of this
  • Just want to help and aren’t sure how yet

03//Reach Out

04//FAQ

No. You need to have worked in the social sector long enough to know what’s funny about it. That’s different. We’ll handle the comedy. You just need to be honest.

TBD — we’re figuring that out. Probably a small room, a few dozen people, some material that’s half-baked, and a conversation afterward about what landed. Think open mic meets focus group meets group therapy.

Not yet — we’re still building the programming. But if you’ve got an event in mind, reach out now and we’ll figure out the timeline together. Early inquiries help us know what to build first.

Yes. Stories, data, material feedback, connections — none of that requires geography. And if enough people in your city want a scream room, that’s useful information.

Not yet. We’re an LLC (pending) funded by a literal piggy bank. The structure is TBD. The work is not.

SOFT LAUNCH NOTICE

This website was built with three cofounders, one piggy bank, and the kind of energy you only get from years of unprocessed institutional rage.

If something looks broken, it probably is. We’re building this in public because the sector taught us that behind closed doors is where the bad decisions happen. Consider this the beta test of our coping mechanism.
